Learn the easy and satisfying art of hand embroidery over a relaxing 2.5 hours.
Embroider a simple design using a circular embroidery hoop, we’ll supply the fabric and all of the equipment so you don’t need to worry about bringing anything along and you can take away your embroidery hoop to continue at home.
On the day you’ll learn how to hand embroider the
following stitches: French knot, daisy chain, blanket stitch, fly
stitch, split stitch and couching - six clever and effective embroidery
stitches you can use on any of your future projects! Caroline will also
take you through the kinds of materials and products that are perfect
for hand embroidering and how to mount your finished work so you can
show it off to all your friends.
Dip into our range of gorgeous coloured embroidery cottons and before you know it you’ll be stitching your cares away, embroidering new life into anything from pillowcases and cushion covers to shopping bags and shirts….
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or for those looking to refresh their skills.
Based at Clockwork in the heart of the Northern Quarter, you’ll be able to enjoy complimentary coffee and cake or any of the other hot and cold refreshments on offer!
